Scaffold Resource, LLC employs two full-time Certified safety professionals with BCSP credentials and a Safety training manager for a workforce of just over 200 employees. Our Sr. Safety Director, Bill Drexel, CHST is responsible for Scaffolding Safety Compliance and Education for our organization. Our Safety Director, Joshua Lloyd, CHST who supports all aspects of our safety culture, is directly responsible for overseeing our Hoisting Division, Fabrication Department, and Facilities. Together they continue to strive for excellence and push our company to be the leader in the construction scaffolding industry. With our Safety Training Manager, Ulysses Medina, every employee who works for this company receives an 8-hour New Hire Scaffolding Safety Orientation Training. This orientation consists of not only Scaffold and Fall Protection Safety but, it represents how we work as a company with an emphasis on the OSHA Fatal Four hazard elimination. At Scaffold Resource, all employees have the authority and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or unsafe acts occur! The message we deliver to every employee is that “Safety is the Most Important Part of Our Jobs”, which is not just a company motto but the roots of our company. Our “See It, Stop It, and Correct It best practice philosophy is pushed from the top down to our field and facilities staff members.

Training Our Staff
Scaffold Resource, LLC employs a full-time Safety Director who is responsible for overseeing scaffold safety compliance issues for every project. We also have a Safety Technician who assists with the safety elements of each construction scaffolding and shoring project. Between the two of them, they visit each job at least once per week to make sure all work is being performed safely and correctly. Scaffold Resource also provides a proactive scaffolding safety orientation program that is made available to all end users of our scaffolding on any construction project site. Mr. Bill Drexel, Safety Director, is responsible for direct supervision of scaffolding safety issues as contracted and ensures that each project includes; competent personnel certification for all Scaffold Resource scaffolding installers, user safety seminars, competent person training scheduling for designated subcontractor personnel, and regularly scheduled scaffolding safety inspections to be accompanied by the prime contractor’s safety personnel.

In order to ensure our team is properly prepared, our staff endures rigorous safety training, including daily communication around safe work practices, and monthly company-wide hazard awareness safety meetings. Each employee is empowered to anticipate potential job site hazards and to help maintain a safe work environment.

Scaffold Safety Awards
Maryland SPECS Program (Strategic Partnership for Excellence in Construction Safety) is a strategic partnership between the MOSH and the Maryland Chapters of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Maryland (ABC). This multi-level agreement encourages and recognizes ABC members who voluntarily implement highly effective safety and health management systems to benefit construction workers and reduce or eliminate injuries, illnesses, and fatalities on construction sites in Maryland.
