Scaffold Resource employs a team of experienced safety professionals for our workforce of 200+ employees. Our Vice President of Safety, Dusty Egbert, CSP, CHST, and his team are responsible leading our organization’s scaffolding safety compliance, safety education, and safety culture.
Dusty and his team strive for excellence and push our company to be the leader in the construction access industry. Every employee who works for Scaffold Resource receives an extensive New Hire Scaffolding Safety Orientation Training. This orientation consists of not only Scaffold and Fall Protection Safety but also represents how we work as a company with an emphasis on the OSHA Fatal Four hazard elimination.
At Scaffold Resource, all employees have the authority and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or unsafe acts occur. The message we deliver to every employee is that “safety is the most important part of our jobs,” which is not just a company motto but the root of our company. Our “See It, Stop It, and Correct It” best practice philosophy is pushed from the top down to our field and facilities staff members.
Scaffold Resource employs a Vice President of Safety who is responsible for overseeing scaffold safety compliance for every project, two Safety Technicians who assist with the safety elements of each project, and an Operations Coordinator who maintains trainings and clearance.
Scaffold Resource holds its employees to the highest standards when it comes to ensuring the safety of our team and anyone who uses our equipment. In order to ensure our team is properly prepared, our staff has undergone rigorous safety training, including daily communication around safe work practices, weekly toolbox talks, and frequent company-wide safety meetings. Maryland SPECS Program (Strategic Partnership for Excellence in Construction Safety) is a strategic partnership between the MOSH and the Maryland Chapters of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Maryland (ABC). This multi-level agreement encourages and recognizes ABC members who voluntarily implement highly effective safety and health management systems to benefit construction workers and reduce or eliminate injuries, illnesses, and fatalities on construction sites in Maryland.
Scaffold Resource is the 1st sub-contractor to be approved by MOSH for level 1 in 2018 and level 2 in 2020. Maryland SPECS partnership with Maryland DLLR/MOSH.
