Miami Freedom Tower

Miami, Florida

Scaffold Resource provided vertical access to the exterior tower of the Iconic Freedom Tower in Miami Florida for the repair of the roof, façade, and replacement of windows. The access scaffold system stood 150’ in elevation and stretched an additional 110’ to the top of the tower. Our team also installed a swing staging off scaffold system to complete work on 4 sides of tower below the 150’ elevation. This work was challenged by very limited space for storage of required material and limited footprint for the scaffold base, requiring a design to fit on existing ledges with cantilevers to provide 100% access to all surfaces.

First Baptist Church

Winston Salem, North Carolina

Scaffold Resource designed and provided an exterior access scaffold system to support the restoration of the church steeple. This system consisted of temporary load distribution mats at grade with high capacity shoring towers that supported four 75’ long transfer beams spanning the full width of the church. This design allowed us to full scaffold the church steeple without any vertical loading to the existing structure and prevented any reshoring work into the finished space.

Bethel Methodist Episcopal Church

Baltimore, Maryland

Scaffold Resource assisted in the reconstruction of the Legendary Bethel Methodist Episcopal Church in Baltimore, MD after its steeple was struck by lightning causing it to catch fire. Our team threaded needle beams through structural openings to create base to build up a scaffold access approximately 80 ft above ground. We integrated a material-only lift tie to the elevated scaffold structure to feed materials up for repairs and provided a trash chute, temporary stair tower and overhead protection to ensure the rest of the church maintained functional operation.
