- Engineer & Install of Suspended Scaffold Platform for skylight access (24 ft x 93 ft each)
- Relocation of Platforms
- Install of Rolling Scaffold Towers on platforms
Project Narrative
Scaffold Resource installed suspended scaffold platforms for access during the cleaning & painting of skylight trusses over the food court. The platform provided access to no more than 4 trusses at one time with the total of 12 skylight truss bays in all.
The platforms were dismantled and relocated in sequence with the cleaning and painting. Four rolling scaffold towers were also erected on the platforms for further access to carious trades with one tower per bay. Each individual platform measured 24 ft by 93 ft with no more than 5 ft between the truss chord and suspended platform. Working capacity was 8 psf. All scaffold areas were fully decked, guard railed, toe boarded as mall and vendors were to remain open during all phases of work.
