We’re thrilled to recount the tremendous success of Scaffold Resource’s 6th Annual Charity Golf Outing, which took place on the picturesque greens of Queenstown Harbor Golf Course, in Queenstown, Maryland on Friday, October 27, 2023. Supporting Two Worthy Causes
This year, our Golf Outing was dedicated to raising funds for two remarkable charities, Fit 2 B Kids and Grate Patrol. These organizations are making a profound difference in the lives of individuals in need.
Fit 2 B Kids
Fit 2 B Kids is a non-profit organization with a mission to empower young people aged 7-18 through multisport and triathlon training. Their commitment to fostering camaraderie, confidence, and inclusion is truly inspiring.
Fit 2 B Kids doesn’t just create elite athletes; they lay the foundation for young individuals to discover their potential through sports. The organization provides essential equipment, guidance, and clinics to ensure that every child has an equal opportunity to experience the joy of sports and the sense of accomplishment it brings.
Grate Patrol
Grate Patrol in association with Georgetown Ministries, which began with one person’s act of kindness in 1981, has evolved into a vital program that distributes food and provides shelter to the homeless. Their work not only ensures that individuals receive nourishment but also offers essential human interaction and respect to those in need. It’s a testament to the profound impact that a simple act of kindness can have on our community.
