Charles Weiss

Charles founded Scaffold Resource in 1998 and has since grown the company to be a leader in the vertical access services industry in the Mid-Atlantic region. He has over twenty-five years of experience in the industry and has been a major contributor to the growth of the scaffold industry in this marketplace. He has led the organization to be customer-oriented, competitive in pricing, and proactively aggressive in ensuring safety issues are prioritized by Scaffold Resource personnel and its’ customers.

Gary Boncich

Gary has been an integral member of the scaffold and access community for nearly 20 years, leading several operations, both locally and nationally. During his time in the business, Gary has reached unparalleled success managing multi-functional teams, driving business improvements and processes, scaling organizations, and creating a ‘team first’ environment that embraces both communication and culture.

General Manager

Jim Vecchione

Jim assumed the role of General Manager at Scaffold Resource in 2021 where he now manages all aspects of the business operations. He has over 17 years of experience in facilities and project management having worked as Executive Director of Facilities at University of Rhode Island, Bryant University, & Drexel University where he also received his Bachelors of Business Management and Masters degree in Construction Management. He brings a multitude of experience having managed the implementation and deployment of computerized maintenance management systems at Drexel and Bryant as well as millions of square feet of new construction & renovations across 6 university campuses. Jim has been awarded the PGMS Honor Award for Best Urban Campus 2016, Drexel Leaders 2020, Providence Business Journal 40 Under Forty 2018.

Director of Finance

Jose Lopez

Jose brings over a decade of financial management experience in the construction industry acting in the role of CFO and Controller for commercial contractors. Prior to this Jose earned his CPA and worked for one of the largest international accounting firms serving middle market and publicly traded companies.

Chief Revenue Officer

Karl O'Reilly

Karl brings a wealth of expertise to our team with a remarkable career spanning over two decades in the construction industry, specializing in equipment rental, services, and manufacturing. In his most recent role as chief operating officer, he successfully managed a merger across North America between the second and third-largest trench safety companies. Karl’s leadership resulted in a harmonious integration, that served as a catalyst for a growing 800-employee, 70-branch operation, with a focus on safety and culture. his focus on expanding core business revenues and improving field margins through strategic realignment, operational excellence, and fleet management was instrumental to the company’s success.

Prior to that, Karl served as vice president, for a global access and infrastructure firm, with a concentration across North American markets. During his tenure, he led a nearly fourfold increase in revenues over a seven-year period, with a strong emphasis on executing strategic acquisitions for growth and optimizing operational excellence.

Throughout his career, Karl has held various management positions, refining his skills in both sales and operations, remaining focused on inorganic and organic growth. Karl’s amazing energy, experience, and personality will position the resource team for success, for many years to come.

VP of Pre-Construction

Benji Coffey

Benji brings over two decades of experience in the construction industry & over 20 years working with Scaffold Resource. He oversees all aspects of our Pre-Construction, including Design & Development of Specialty Project Concepts, Engineering & Estimating Review, Project Management Support for the Field, & our in-house Fabrication Shop. He has been recognized for his accomplishments with the Arts and Industries Project by receiving the Washington Building Congress Star Craftsmanship Award in 2012 and the Revitalization of St. Elizabeth’s Center Building in 2017.

VP of Business Development

Mark Tsirigos

Mark brings over 35 years of experience in the Scaffolding and Hoisting Industry. Mark started in the field before moving into Sales & Project Management ultimately leading to him assuming the Vice President role 15 years ago. His experience has helped to build a wealth of knowledge in all areas of this very diverse industry. One of Mark’s many talents is his ability to provide innovative solutions for his clients’ most challenging projects. Some of the notable projects that Mark has been involved with include; the Presidential Inaugurals (2001-2013), The Washington Monument Restoration and Earthquake repair (1999 & 2013), & The Library of Congress.

VP of Safety

Dusty Egbert

Dusty joins the Scaffold Resource team with 14 years of Construction Safety experience. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health from Murray State University, and both CHST and CSP certifications, Dusty brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience to Scaffold Resource. Dusty’s expansive background in construction safety spans from underground work, mining, cranes, electrical, mechanical, and bridges, and he has overseen safety programs as large as 400+ employees on multiple projects, all while maintaining MSHA, OSHA, EM-385, ANSI, and NFPA 70e compliance. Dusty is involved in local safety chapters including ASSP, National Safety Council, and NECA, and his current training credentials include OSHA 500 Instructor, First Aid CPR Instructor, Trainer in Rigging & Signaling, MEWP, and Forklift. 

VP of Risk Management

Steven Long

Steve comes to Scaffold Resource with over 14 years of experience in risk management, including as a practicing attorney for the last 14 years. Steve initially started his career by representing injured plaintiffs and workers, and then transitioned to the defense side where he focused his practice on managing and evaluating insurance claims, as well as representing his clients in court, gaining significant courtroom and trial experience. Steve’s legal background allowed him to gain vital knowledge and experience in managing risk and minimizing exposure in many areas, including the construction industry. This unique skillset and experience make Steve a welcome addition to Scaffold Resource’s Risk Management team.

With over 25 years of industry experience, Steve has established himself as a Sales leader within the Scaffolding, Shoring and Hoisting industry driving sales growth and nurturing high-performing sales teams. Known for his deep expertise and unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction, Steve is the go-to person to lead our sales efforts and fortify our market presence. Some of the notable projects that Steve has been involved with include;  MGM National Harbor, Washington National Cathedral and Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Ulysses Medina is a dynamic and experienced leader in the scaffolding and construction industry, currently serving as the Director of Operations at Scaffold Resource. With over five years of dedicated service within the company, Ulysses has held various key positions, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to excellence. In his current role, Ulysses is responsible for overseeing scaffolding and shoring operations, field labor, scheduling, and clearance operations. His collaborative approach ensures smooth and efficient coordination across all departments, contributing to the company’s continued growth and success. Ulysses’s leadership and strategic vision are integral to maintaining Scaffold Resource’s reputation for high-quality service and operational excellence.

Bill is a seasoned professional in the scaffold/access industry with an impressive career spanning 37 years. Over the course of his career, he has dedicated 17 years to Scaffold Resource. Renowned for his dynamic and forward-thinking leadership, Bill has consistently been at the forefront of implementing best practices and driving innovation within the field.

Throughout his career, Bill has earned a reputation for providing cutting-edge solutions to clients, leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience to deliver exceptional results. With a strong background in both operations and sales, he possesses a well-rounded skill set that allows him to effectively manage complex projects while also driving business growth.

Loretta Lewis has managed the administrative and in-house operations for Scaffold Resource for over 10 years. Her role involves a myriad of oversight responsibilities across departments creating solutions for any issues that arise. Loretta plays a significant role in the company’s ability to expand its support structure for our growing customer base in both the private & government sectors.
