At Scaffold Resource, we’re driven by the belief that working together can truly make a difference. Our recent 7th Annual Golf Outing was a testament to that spirit, where we raised $100,000 for Giving Strength Inc. in support of research and treatment for Selenon-Related Myopathy. We wanted to share a heartfelt message from our CEO, Gary Boncich, reflecting on the impact of this event and the importance of kindness, empathy, and community.
Heartfelt Message From Our CEO
‘I am a true believer that small acts of kindness can change the world and if we all work together, we can make tomorrow shine brighter than today. This past Friday, the Scaffold Resource TEAM did just that…..they worked together in beautiful harmony to make a difference.
Four years ago, we met Finn, a BRAVE little boy that has Selenon; a mega-rare genetic disorder, which alters an individual’s ability to synthesize Selenoprotein, leading to spinal complications, muscle development, and respiratory function. Finn is supported by amazing parents, family, and friends who created Giving Strength Inc. (Giving Strength Inc | SELENON-Related Myopathy), a non-profit organization that supports research and treatment related to Selenon.
This year, Scaffold Resource worked with its amazing sponsors and partners at our 7th Annual Golf Outing, to raise $100,000.00, which was donated to Giving Strength Inc.
Friday was an emotional day, one filled with joy, self-reflection, empathy, and compassion……knowing that Scaffold Resource has such amazing employees, customers, supporters, and friends, makes it that much easier to make a difference when it matters most. If you do nothing else today, tell a co-worker thank you, hug a loved one, tuck your kids in, and do not take anything you have for granted.
